Airbus’ worldwide search for qualified, motivated engineers to prepare the future of aviation was focused on Dubai today, where students were given an insight into the company and its career opportunities.
A briefing was organised for engineering students from Gulf region colleges as part of the Dubai Airshow’s Futures Day, providing an overview on Airbus and its EADS parent company. The invitees also toured one of two Airbus corporate jetliners on the display line at Dubai Airport Expo, followed by lunch and the opportunity to interact with Airbus and EADS personnel.
“We always are looking for the next generation of engineers and managers who are ready to set new standards with Airbus,” said Rachel Schroeder, the Head of Employment Marketing at Airbus, who presented today’s briefing. “This was the first time a Futures Day event was held by the Dubai Airshow organisers, and we were pleased to use the occasion to meet with students.”
