The maiden flight of Airbus Military's A400M took place on 11 December from Seville, Spain. This 3-hour, 47-minute-long mission marked a key milestone for the all-new multi-role airlifter, which has been developed to replace ageing fleets of C-130 Hercules and C-160 Transalls in service around the world.
