First flight for Air France's no. 1 A380

The initial A380 for Air France performed its maiden flight on 12 February from Toulouse, France. The aircraft is now ready for painting, and having its passenger cabin and furnishings installed. Air France will be the first European customer to take delivery of Airbus' 21st century flagship aircraft, with the A380's handover scheduled for later this year.
