Airbus underscored its strong presence at Asian Aerospace 2006 by highlighting the flagship A380 and the new A350. Held at the Chingi Exhibition Centre in Singapore from 21st-26th February, the exhibition showcased the A380 in daily flying displays. 2005 Airbus orders from the Asia-Pacific region accounted for more than 45 per cent of the global total.
