While the new international airport for Germany’s capital city has yet to open, certain visitors to the ILA Berlin Air Show will have the opportunity to experience a takeoff and landing at this facility…thanks to Airbus.
As part of its presence at the air show’s ExpoCentre venue, Airbus arranged to have a truck-mounted A320 simulator parked next to its aircraft display – enabling invited guests to try their hand at piloting the A320 in a quick, virtual roundtrip from the Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
This simulator is operated by Flightdecksystems GmbH, German company that supplies such systems for public use at airports and other locations. Its truck-mounted A320 simulator is made available for corporate events and other promotional purposes.
As part of the system’s presence at the Berlin Air Show, Airbus is offering a number of slots to attendees who enter a contest, and have correctly answered two simple questions about the “Let’s shop Airbus” store, and the A320neo.
