Airbus wishes to clearly state that it did not ask to re-negotiate the conditions
under which the refundable launch investments for the A380 were granted. These
investments were granted after approval from the respective governments and then
notified to the European Commission. They are fully compliant with the Bilateral
Agreement of 1992 between the EU and US governments, the latter having been formally
informed by the EU Commission as provisioned by the Agreement.
Airbus is an EADS joint Company with BAE SYSTEMS.
