The A380's cabin advantages for passengers and crew were underscored at the annual Aircraft Interiors show in Hamburg, where Airbus emphasized the aircraft's spaciousness, and comfort. Event attendees also were able to see the A380 that recently returned from an international route proving tour, which was brought to the Airbus site of Finkenwerder and opened for visits by professionals.
More than 13 000 professional visitors came to the 2007 edition of Aircraft Interiors in Hamburg, where Airbus presented the strengths and benefits of the A380 cabin, setting standards in terms of comfort, efficiency and services.
The A380 cabin boasts a long list of advantages for the greater comfort of future passengers: Overall spaciousness, quiet, splendid air quality, individual lightning systems and modern in-flight entertainment and connectivity services. Airlines were interested by the innovative A380 Multifunctional Flight Attendant panel, the cabin management tool for the crew. The many positive comments showed that how impressed people were, even though they could only experience the cabin benefits virtually.
The real experience was reserved for selected guests: The A380 finished its commercial route proving tour just in time to be available for customers, who were taken from the exhibition to the Airbus site of Finkenwerder, where more than 150 airline representatives and some 140 Airbus suppliers enjoyed a visit around the A380 cabin and gave enthusiastic feedback.
