Air Via takes delivery of new A320
12 April 2006
News in brief
Bulgarian airline Air Via has received its first brand new A320, as part of the company's long-term fleet regeneration strategy. The aircraft, which is on lease from Singapore Airlines Leasing Enterprise (SALE), is the first all-new, Western-built aircraft in Bulgaria and is Air Via's second A320. The airline will by this summer operate a total of three A320s - two of them new - which will be used for German routes to the Black Sea holiday resorts of Varna and Burgos. Based in Varna, Air Via became Bulgaria's second Airbus operator in December 2005.
