Air Asia receives A320 painted in Manchester United colours

The first Airbus A320 to be painted in a football club's colours was delivered to Air Asia this week. The no-frills airline, which began operations in December 2001 with two aircraft and has now ordered more than 100 A320 Family aircraft, received an A320 painted in the colours of English Premiership club Manchester United. The Asian airline, with routes to Malaysia, China, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam, is an official sponsor of the club and will fly the aircraft on to China, Vietnam and Brunei.
