Airbus is presenting a development study for an enhanced A380, the “A380plus”. The study includes aerodynamic improvements in particular new, large winglets and other wing refinements that allow for up to 4% fuel burn savings.
Airbus is presenting a developmental study for an enhanced version of the A380, called the “A380plus." The study includes aerodynamic improvements that would reduce fuel consumption, as well as an enhanced cabin layout and optimised maintenance planning.
On its maiden flight performed 24 November 2016, the A350-1000 demonstrated its efficiency and capabilities for the global customer base of this longest-fuselage member in Airbus’ A350 XWB jetliner family. Measuring nearly 74 metres from nose to tail, the A350-1000 offers a maximum range of 7,950 nautical miles and is designed for high efficiency, maximum reliability and optimised performance, while offering passengers best-in-class comfort with its “Airspace by Airbus” cabin.
The future of single-aisle aircraft is taking flight with Airbus’ A320neo (new engine option) family, which is creating better, more efficient ways for airlines and passengers to fly. Learn more about the game-changing product line with this video.
