Iran Airtour celebrates 45 years with commitment for 45 aircraft- BRoll

Dr. Reza Mousavi, CEO of Iran Airtour Airlines Interview, Tehran based Iran Airtour Airlines, has become Airbus’ newest customer for the A320neo Family after signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for 45 aircraft at the Paris Air Show. Celebrating 45 years since establishment, the carrier now has been added to Airbus’ list of new customers after being an all-Boeing operator with a fleet of eight aircraft. Operating scheduled services to domestic and international markets, Iran Airtour will benefit from the new aircraft to modernise its fleet and expand its operations to domestic and international markets.

Airbus Commercial Aircraft secures almost $40 billion of new aircraft orders at Paris Air Show 2017

Providing strong evidence that the commercial aircraft market remains healthy, Airbus announced $39.7 billion worth of new business during the 2017 Paris Air Show. The company won commitments for a total of 326 aircraft, including firm orders for 144 aircraft worth $18.5 billion and MoUs for 182 aircraft worth $21.2 billion.

WIZZ Air signs contract for 10 additional A321ceo aircraft - BRoll

József Varady, Wizz Air Managing Director & CEO Itw - Wizz Air Holdings Plc with its subsidiary, Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has signed a firm contract for 10 A321ceos. The aircraft will be powered by IAE International Aero Engines AG’s V2500.

Airbus Helicopters reveals Racer high-speed demonstrator configuration

Airbus Helicopters has unveiled today at the Paris air show the aerodynamic configuration of the high speed demonstrator it is developing as part of the Clean Sky 2 European research programme. Codenamed Racer, for Rapid And Cost-Effective Rotorcraft, this demonstrator will incorporate a host of innovative features and will be optimised for a cruise speed of more than 400 km/h. It will aim at achieving the best trade-off between speed, cost-efficiency, sustainability and mission performance. Final assembly of the demonstrator is expected to start in 2019, with a first flight the next year.

Airbus launches new A320 Airspace interior
