On the third day of the 51st Paris Air Show, Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt visited Airbus Group where he met with Chief Executive Officer Tom Enders, Chief Technical Officer Jean Botti and Jean-Brice Dumont, Head of Engineering at Airbus Helicopters.
A passionate helicopter pilot, Schmidt was given a comprehensive tour of the Group’s static display, including an update on latest innovations such as the H160 helicopter, the all-electric E-Fan Technology Demonstrator and the Connected Cockpit Concept, allowing student pilots to plan individual training exercises on their own portable devices.
Since its first presentation at the Paris Air Show in 2013, the E-Fan aircraft has received several improvements such as an increased battery capacity of 60 percent.
