Airbus’ “stars of the show” are already lining up as the company is ready to highlight its market-leading commercial jetliners and continuous innovation at the aerospace industry’s oldest and largest gathering.
The Airbus A350 XWB and A380 are expected today at Le Bourget Airport near Paris, France in preparation for the biennial Paris Air Show. A total of four of these jetliners will be present during the coming week – comprising an A350 XWB and A380 of Qatar Airways, as well as one aircraft type each from Airbus’ in-house developmental fleet.
The arrival of these highly-efficient commercial airliners – as well as their prominent display at the show – spotlights Airbus’ passion for aviation: with a drive to make the freedom of flight possible by designing, manufacturing and supporting the world’s best aircraft.
Innovation at centre stage
Airbus’ A380 and A350 XWB are prime examples of the pioneering technological innovation that has been an important driver of the company’s success – with more than 15,000 aircraft from across its product line ordered by a global customer base to date – and is the key to its future.
Underscored by modern and efficient jetliner families, Airbus has established a reputation as a leader in innovation: exceling at continuous incremental improvements to its existing jetliners, resulting in the A320neo and A330neo new engine option versions, as examples; as well as the development of all-new aircraft such as the next-generation A350 WXB.
This philosophy delivers significant benefits in terms of increasing efficiency, performance and safety for customers around the globe.
Airbus is the answer
Airbus’ comprehensive product line – with aircraft ranging from 100 to more than 500 seats – offers unmatched efficiency, performance and comfort levels, while providing a complete solution that answers the air transport sector’s most important questions.
