Airbus honours its storied past with enhanced online timeline

Summary

Tracking the key milestones that have contributed to Airbus’ industry leadership position has never been easier with this month’s introduction of the company’s enhanced interactive timeline on Airbus.com – which features a new appearance, improved functionality and more.

Beginning with the July 1967 agreement that established European cooperation for the benchmark A300 jetliner, this timeline extends all the way to Airbus’ latest headlines – including the start-up of production for its highly-efficient A320neo (new engine option), which commenced earlier this week in Toulouse, France.
The timeline is updated on a regular basis, and provides several categories of information – ranging from corporate-level and product milestones to technological “firsts” and other innovations. Located in the website’s “Company” section, it serves as a complement to the in-depth narrative version of Airbus’ history.
