The Toulouse, France-based Airbus Corporate Jet Centre has delivered its third VVIP cabin in 2009, reaching a goal that underscores this specialist’s success in Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) cabin completion.
The third cabin provided during this period – which is for an undisclosed customer in the Middle East – makes full use of the Airbus ACJ’s large fuselage cross-section. Its forward area is divided into two parts: a dining section with Club 4 and Club 2 seating, and a lounge complete with two sofas and four adjustable cocktail tables.
The aft cabin offers a VIP area with mini-suite executive seats – all of which can convert into beds, and are equipped with 20-inch LCD monitors, pull-out tables and retractable Ottomans. This Airbus ACJ also includes a bedroom with an electrically-operated bed and a bathroom with shower.
The cosy atmosphere – which is enhanced by the cabin’s overall quietness – is created by the use of noble materials, including semi-precious stones, bird-eyes marble, nubuck, leather and wood, along with a mood-lighting system.
In addition, the Airbus ACJ cabin also boasts such features as electrically-operated seats equipped with new touch-screen technology, and advanced passenger entertainment & communications – including a PFIS (Passenger Flight Information System) and Wi-Fi Internet, as well as Audio and Video On Demand.
