A330-200 Freighter performs well during cold-weather testing

Summary

A330-200 Freighter performs well during cold-weather testing

Airbus has successfully completed A330-200F cold-weather testing in northern Canada at Iqaluit, where the new freighter aircraft was subjected to "cold-soak" temperatures as low as -27°C. The climate control system, main deck cargo door and other modifications introduced on the dedicated cargo version of the A330-200 jetliner were checked out, as were other systems and operations. This A330-200F will now undergo hot-and-humid testing in the Far East, keeping the Freighter programme on track for certification in March.
