Airbus Corporate Jet Centre creates first VIP kit for multi-mission A320

Summary

The Airbus Corporate Jet Centre has expanded its range of products with development of a new A320 VIP kit, which will enable the dual-role capability to transport VIPs or passengers.

Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), the specialist in ACJ VIP cabin completion and associated services, expands its range of products by developing a VIP kit that will be installed in an Airbus A320 for a Middle East customer, giving the aircraft a dual-role capability to transport either VIPs or passengers.
“This kit allows conversion of the forward A320 passenger area into a VIP section, giving the customer the flexibility to make even wider use of its aircraft” says Benoit Defforge, Airbus Corporate Jet Centre CEO.
The kit includes two double-VIP seats and two Club-Four VIP seats, with Hi/Lo tables. To complement this VIP configuration and bring a warmer ambiance and greater privacy, the forward area also features high quality leather upholstery, woollen carpets and elegant curtains.
ACJC will deliver the VIP kit in the second quarter of 2010, and will also install provisions for subsequent installation of the kit later that year in a second A320.
ACJC has also recently launched a new package of customized services called “VIP Pass”. This package is a real innovation because it is specifically developed for executive, private and government operators of Airbus Corporate Jet aircraft.
This VIP Pass can include cabin upgrades and refurbishment, airframe maintenance, cabin and airframe spares, as well as full engine support. It can also offer ACJC’s customers an Airworthiness and Maintenance Engineering service that bundles together the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre’s technical expertise with the Airbus ACJ Family and the availability of the highest standard of a Maintenance Information System.
