Airbus has finalised a five year Flight Hour Services-Tailored Support Package (FHS-TSP) agreement with the Czech Air Force to maintain its A319CJ fleet. The FHS-TSP, which will be performed by Airbus Customer Services, will provide full component and engineering support - plus engine care, trend monitoring and heavy maintenance.
The package will be delivered beginning this month as part of the Airbus Tailored Support Package suite of services, which encompasses a broad range of made-to-measure solutions for maintenance and engineering.
The FHS-TSP allows the Czech Air Force to benefit from the experience and expertise offered by Airbus and its selected partners in the areas of maintenance, engineering and supply chain management. In addition, it offers a reliable, predictable and competitive cost structure to the customer.
This latest contract builds on the unique service that Airbus has developed to support the requirements of governments, corporate and VIP customers - which takes into account their very specific needs, including global deployments, multi-role service and lower utilisation rates when compared to airline operations.
This new Czech Air Force agreement - plus the renewal of an accord with the Venezuelan Air Force for Airbus to support its A319CJ - demonstrates that operators and governments increasingly understand the benefits that Airbus' Tailored Support Package brings to their specific operations.
"With the signing of this latest contract, the Czech Air Force places its trust in Airbus, which makes us very proud," said Bruce Jones, the Senior Vice President of Airbus Services and Customer Support. "I am confident that our FHS-TSP will enhance the customers' operations in term of cost predictability and reliability. Thanks to its position and experience, Airbus is demonstrating its ability to offer tailored, efficient and comprehensive servicing for VIP and large business aircraft."
