These are exciting times for the recently-created Airbus Corporate Jets business unit, which has a high-profile participation at the 2012 Singapore Airshow.
In addition to bringing an ACJ318 for its first-ever appearance at this biennial event, Airbus Corporate Jets is building on new momentum that comes from bringing together the commercial, programme and support activities into a single in-house unit to better serve customers worldwide.
“As a result of this unification, new offices are being opened in key markets around the world, we’re bringing support solutions closer to where the customers’ aircraft are based, and our support staff is being increased in size,” explained François Chazelle, the Vice President of Airbus Corporate Jets. “In another benefit, my colleagues from programmes are now working closer together on product developments to meet customers’ needs.”
Creation of the Airbus Corporate Jets unit was announced last November at the Dubai Airshow, and the organization became effective on 1 January.
