Airbus and its EADS parent company are looking for a hand – or possibly a paintbrush – to help promote creativity and innovation with a graffiti mural at the Paris Air Show.
The special “Express yourself – design your future” graffiti mural will evolve throughout the show with visitor participation and is designed encourage young people, students, graduates, and even experienced professionals to consider careers with EADS. Located on the Airbus hospitality venue in the aircraft static display area, the artwork will be accessible from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday, 20 June and visitors to the show are encouraged to contribute.
In another outreach for EADS’ recruitment efforts at the Paris Air Show, a special “first of its kind” event will be organised on Friday morning, 21 June. Starting at 10 a.m., it will be held near Airbus’ hospitality venue at Le Bourget – situated not far from the EADS pavilion. This “secret” event will last for 45 minutes, followed by a reception for invited participants.
In 2013, Airbus plans to recruit for 3,000 additional positions related to its latest developments such as the A320neo and the A350 XWB.
