The first rear fuselage section shells for the A400M military transport aircraft have been delivered by EADS Military Air Systems to Airbus in Bremen, Germany where they will be assembled before being sent to the final assembly line (FAL) in Seville, Spain later this year. The development of the A400M, one of the most important European military projects, is under the responsibility of Airbus. The aircraft is produced by Airbus Military, in which Airbus is the major shareholder. The other shareholders are EADS-CASA, FLABEL of Belgium and Turkish Aerospace Industries.
