Airbus test crew visit children in hospital
Airbus and the French association "Hôpital Sourire" (Hospital Smile) organised an afternoon tea at the Children's Hospital in Toulouse with Airbus test pilots and engineers. This 17 March event was the occasion for hospitalised children to meet crewmembers of the A380's historic first flight. The children viewed a video of this milestone maiden flight and asked questions of the crew. More occasions such as this one are planned in France and other European countries. By this and similar actions, Airbus underscores and reinforces its commitment to the company's main themes of community and corporate citizenship, such as the environment and integrating young people.
