The A380 has already visited Dubai, drawing the admiration of the crowds for its impressive flight display, which demonstrates its manoeuvrability and amazing silence.

The A380 featuring in the Dubai Airshow is MSN009, powered by Engine Alliance’s GP7200 engines. The A380 can also be equipped with Rolls-Royce’s Trent 900 engines and has received certification for this version in December 2006.

Emirates Airlines, which is Airbus’ largest A380 customer with 55 aircraft on order, has selected the Engine Alliance GP7200 engines for its fleet. Certification for the GP7200 powered A380 is expected in December of this year.

Airbus will hold a general press briefing on Monday, 12th November in Conference Room C starting at 10.15 a.m..

Airshow visitors can obtain more information at the stand (C220) which Airbus shares with EADS. The stand features the entire Airbus Family of aircraft including the corporate jet family. A shared EADS-Airbus hospitality chalet (Row A No 45 - 48) also welcomes media guests.
