A new mission for Airbus Military’s C295 tactical transport

As part of an agreement signed today at the Paris Air Show, Airbus Military and Israel Aerospace Industries will jointly develop and market a new version of the C295 tactical transport – which is to be equipped with an Airborne Early Warning and Command (AEW&C) system. The aircraft’s readiness for the AEW&C mission is being validated through flight trials of a C295 outfitted with a rotodome demonstrator in Seville, Spain.
