Dubai 2005 Airshow

Airbus once again has a strong presence at the Dubai Air Show, held this year from 20 – 24 November at the Airport Expo.

The A380 comes to the Dubai Air Show following a successful nine-day Asia-Pacific tour that saw the aircraft visit Changi Airport in Singapore, followed by Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne airports in Australia and finally Kuala Lumpur airport in Malaysia.

The recent Asia-Pacific tour and successful airport compatibility tests completed prior to Dubai 2005 mark the latest milestone in the Airbus A380 programme.

Following the first airport compatibility tests at Frankfurt airport, Airbus has successfully demonstrated the A380’s compatibility at four more airports during the recent Asia-Pacific tour.
