Apprentice. A380 Final Assembly Line in Hamburg, Germany.

As a Dual Student of Industrial Engineering and Business Management I both study at the Nordakademie in Elmshorn and during free-lecture time I collect practical experience in Airbus.

While being in the company I have the opportunity to gain experience in various divisions of Airbus. At the moment I'm located in the A380 Final Assembly Line in Hamburg Finkenwerder. My current tasks there consist of projects concerning Lean and production improvement for A380 Cabin Furnishing. When I will finish my studies in March 2013 I will receive the degree Bachelor of Science and plan to apply for a permanent job at Airbus.

What makes Airbus interesting are mainly our fascinating products with the technology and innovation behind them. Furthermore it's also the multinational character of this company with sites and subsidiaries located not only in Europe but all over the globe. Working for Airbus means working together with people from more than eighty nationalities. Due to its international role Airbus also encourages and supports its dual students to study and work abroad. In my opinion Airbus is definitely the right choice not only for aviation enthusiasts.
