Airbus chooses Spirit AeroSystems for A350 centre fuselage frame

Wichita-based Spirit AeroSystems has been selected by Airbus to design and manufacture the new A350 XWB’s lower composite center fuselage frame. Production of this airframe component is set to take place at a new North Carolina facility, and will mark the latest step in Airbus’ ongoing commitment to optimize its global foundation.
