 | 16th Chinese-assembled aircraft delivered to Spring Airlines 11 March 2010 | | |
 | China's first private low-cost carrier Spring Airlines has received its initial A320 produced at Airbus' Chinese final assembly line, joining the growing list of operators to receive aircraft from this facility. The A320 - configured in an efficient 180-economy seat layout - will be deployed on routes between Shanghai and other Chinese cities. It is the 16th aircraft built at the Tianjin assembly line, as well as the 16th A320 to join Spring Airlines' all-Airbus fleet.

 | Shanghai-based Juneyao Airlines today received its initial A320 from the Airbus Final Assembly Line China in Tianjin, which joins the privately-owned carrier's existing all-Airbus fleet of two A319s and 13 A320s. The new A320 is the 15th aircraft assembled at Tianjin, and the fourth delivered from this production facility so far in 2010.

 | A330-200 Freighter performs well during cold-weather testing 29 January 2010 | | |
 | Airbus has successfully completed A330-200F cold-weather testing in northern Canada at Iqaluit, where the new freighter aircraft was subjected to "cold-soak" temperatures as low as -27°C. The climate control system, main deck cargo door and other modifications introduced on the dedicated cargo version of the A330-200 jetliner were checked out, as were other systems and operations. This A330-200F will now undergo hot-and-humid testing in the Far East, keeping the Freighter programme on track for certification in March.

 | Al Jaber Aviation (AJA) has taken delivery of its first Airbus aircraft - an A318 Elite, which will now undergo cabin outfitting by Lufthansa Technik at its Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S. facility. AJA will receive the outfitted A318 Elite in mid-2010, when it will become the first Middle Eastern company to offer Airbus aircraft for VVIP charters. Al Jaber has ordered a total of four A318 Elites and two Airbus Corporate Jetliners.

 | Airbus Military's first A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) for the Royal Saudi Air Force is being readied for the installation of its mission equipment in Madrid, Spain, where the aircraft will undergo its conversion process to the tanker configuration. A total of 28 A330 MRTTs have been ordered to date by Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Australia. The Royal Australian Air Force will become the first operator of this next-generation aerial refuelling tanker, with deliveries of its A330 MRTTs beginning in 2010.

 | The no. 1 A330-200 Freighter has been painted in Airbus livery and is being prepared for its handover to the flight test department during the coming weeks. This will clear the way for ground tests leading to a maiden flight in November. Airbus' new mid-size, long-haul cargo aircraft - for which there are currently 67 firm orders from nine customers - has benefitted from an extensive weight saving exercise throughout its development, which is expected to translate into at least a half tonne more payload than initially published.
