Airbus kept up the delivery pace in February, providing 38 single-aisle and widebody aircraft to its international customers and operators.
Of the total, 33 were from the A320 family, composed of six A319s, 21 A320s and six A321s. These jetliners were received by AerDragon Aviation Partners (for Free Bird Airlines), AERVENTURE (for Mexicana), Air Berlin, Air China, ALAFCO (for Olympic Air), Avianca, BOC Aviation (for Jetstar Airways), China Eastern, China Southern, CIT (for Cyprus Airways), Comlux, easyJet, Gulf Air, Indian Airlines, IndiGo, Juneyao Airlines, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, Shanghai Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, TAM Linhas Aereas, Tiger Airways, US Airways, and an unnamed private customer.
The second A380 for Air France was delivered to this global airline group in February, while the other widebody aircraft provided during the month were an A330-200 to AERCAP (for Sichuan Airlines) and to CIT (for Qantas Airways), along with one A330-300 to AWAS (for Singapore Airlines) and another for Finnair.
Airbus’ order book remained unchanged from January. The month of February included an announcement of Hong Kong Airlines’ Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for six more A330-200 aircraft – which will increase the number of A330s ordered by this carrier to 23.
