Airbus North America Engineering has opened a premier engineering center in Mobile, Alabama at the edge of Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. This facility provides engineering services for the cabin and cargo areas of Airbus’ entire product line.

Activities at the Mobile engineering center are specialized in the specification, design and installation of cabins, cabin equipment and monuments, seats, cargo systems, and cabin and cargo linings for the new A350 XWB, the 525-seat A380, the new A330-200 freighter, and the market leading A330-200/300 passenger aircraft. It also is part of the growing aircraft modification market for our single aisle and long-range aircraft.
