Airbus has a major commercial presence in the U.S. and Canadian markets, with more than 2,600 single-aisle and widebody jetliners ordered by North American customers, and over 1,100 currently in airline and cargo service.
The company’s commitment to North America also includes the operation of two engineering centers, which are assigned exciting, leading-edge development work on a full range of current and future Airbus programs.
The Wichita Design and Engineering Center was the first such Airbus facility in the U.S., and is a center of excellence for A380 wing engineering. Current openings include engineering specialists in static stress, fatigue and damage tolerance, and design engineering lead.
The Airbus Engineering Center in Mobile specializes in the specification, design and installation of cabins, cabin equipment and monuments, seats, cargo systems, and cabin and cargo linings for the A350 XWB, A380, A330-200 freighter, and A330-200/300 passenger aircraft. Currently open positions include engineering specialists in stress, cabin compliance and aircraft cabin modification/reconfiguration; as well as cabin/cargo designers and engineers.
