2007 sales
As of 24 September, the sales of Airbus corporate, executive and VIP aircraft in 2007 stood at 29 Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) Family aircraft, five VIP A330/A340 Family aircraft, and the first-ever order for a VIP A380 Prestige.
ACJ Family sales
Airbus announced in September 2007 that total Airbus ACJ Family sales had reached the 100 aircraft milestone, worth $5.5 billion based on list prices.

Airbus offers a complete range of aircraft for corporate, VIP and government aviation - from its A318 Elite, Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ) and A320 Prestige to the widebody A330 and A340, and the A380.
Airbus corporate jetliners enjoyed another record year in 2007, winning 38 firm orders from customers around the world and a total of almost 50 orders and commitments.

The firm orders comprise 31 Airbus Corporate Jetliner (ACJ) Family aircraft, plus seven VIP widebodies, and are a further increase from the 20 Airbus ACJ Family and one VIP widebody booked in 2006.

Airbus attributes its success in the corporate jet market to the greater comfort and space that its aircraft offer over traditional business jets, as well as to their more modern designs. Increasing awareness of the benefits of Airbus corporate jets is also an important factor, as more and more potential customers see and experience these – especially on VIP charter flights and during airshows.

Key milestones in 2007 included announcements of the first sales of a VIP double-deck Airbus A380, to HRH Prince Alwaleed, who is Chairman of the Kingdom Holding company, and of a VIP A350 XWB to C Jet Ltd of Hong Kong, for use by Chairman Tony Chan.

The past year also saw Airbus pass the milestone of 100 sales of its Airbus ACJ Family, which comprises the A318 Elite, the ACJ and the A320 Prestige. This milestone was reached just 10 years after the launch of the Airbus ACJ in 1997, and highlights the success of the Airbus ACJ Family in what, for Airbus, was then a new market.
