2007 sales
As of 24 September, the sales of Airbus corporate, executive and VIP aircraft in 2007 stood at 29 Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) Family aircraft, five VIP A330/A340 Family aircraft, and the first-ever order for a VIP A380 Prestige.
ACJ Family sales
Airbus announced in September 2007 that total Airbus ACJ Family sales had reached the 100 aircraft milestone, worth $5.5 billion based on list prices.

Airbus’ ACJ Family has become the preferred choice of charter operators, companies, governments and individuals, with around 80 of the twin-engine aircraft sold worldwide.

Twinjet Aircraft of the U.K., is completing its seventh year of highly successful service with an ACJ, and received a second aircraft in 2006. Based at London’s Luton airport, the ACJ enjoys considerable success on charter flights within Europe and to the Middle East and America.

French business jet operator Aero Services Executive has utilised an ACJ since 2001. Its ACJ is routinely deployed within Europe and to the Middle East, North America and Latin America – as well as on even longer flights.

DaimlerChrysler uses an A319 ACJ as a 48-seat corporate shuttle, typically making four to five roundtrips a week between its headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, and Auburn Hills, Michigan. This aircraft also flies regularly within Europe for the DaimlerChrysler group and others. On the days when the ACJ makes its transatlantic roundtrips, it is in the air about 17 hours out of 24.

The Airbus Corporate Jetliner family also is successfully used for premium-class airline and charter service. Nonstop transatlantic are flights operated by PrivatAir’s A319 Long Range aircraft for Lufthansa, linking Dusseldorf with New York (Newark) and Chicago in the U.S. With each A319LR making six transatlantic roundtrips per week, the average daily utilisation of these aircraft is the highest of any A320 Family operator, typically running at more than 13 hours per day.

Qatar Airways uses two A319 Long Range aircraft to develop new segments for the airline, such as Doha to Moscow, Rangoon and Zurich, with the aircraft configured in a mixed super first/premium business layout. National Air Services of Saudi Arabia is flying regional all premium-class services and ad hoc charter flights with two A319 Executives configured with 44 seats and it also flies VIP A320s and an ACJ for private clients.

Blue Moon Aviation was the first to offer an Airbus Corporate Jetliner for charter in the American market, flying an A319 ACJ with seating for 56 passengers, expandable to 72. This A319 ACJ is regularly used to carry sports teams, and also is hired for executive shuttles, political campaigns, medical flights and private charters.

A growing number of governments are introducing Airbus Corporate Jetliners for the transportation of senior officials, heads of state, and other passengers. ACJs are currently in government service with Brazil, France, the Middle East, Thailand and Venezuela.
