Airline operators and passengers alike will appreciate the A350 XWB’s extra widebody fuselage, which ensures comfort in all classes of service while providing optimum seating efficiency for more revenue potential.

With a maximum 220-inch interior cross section, the A350 XWB models have five more inches of cabin width than their competition, accommodating up to 30-35 additional seats.

The seating flexibility offered in economy class begins with a baseline nine-abreast configuration. Premium economy is created in an eight-abreast arrangement, while 10-abreast seating is available for high-density layouts – which are accommodated without the need for cabin modifications or floor reinforcement.

A350 XWB business class at six or seven-abreast seating offers exclusive comfort levels and allows even the most innovative lie-flat seats to be installed. The first-class cabin allows for a full range of accommodations – including the private mini-suites pioneered on Airbus’ A380.

Large overhead bins meet travellers’ needs for additional carry-on space, enabling economy class passengers to stow one standard roller bag plus a large personal item, while the business class overhead stowage accommodates two roller bags per passenger.

The spacious A350 XWB cabin is given a brighter, more airy feel with its large windows, which are the widest in the industry.

Airbus is applying the latest technology in energy-efficient LED mood lighting on the A350 XWB. This enables the cabin ambience to be tailored to each airline’s own identity, as well as creating day and nighttime illumination that helps the body adapt to jetlag on long-range flights. The Airbus innovations also include accent lighting for overhead stowage bins, windows, cabin dividers and in the ceiling, along with the capability to project special effects onto the ceiling.
