Gerlinde Honold has been Airbus Helicopters’ Executive Vice President, Finance since July 2012.
Prior to her current position, Honold worked in several high-level management roles within the Airbus Group’s EADS predecessor, including Chief Financial Officer for Airbus Military Aircraft (1999- 2004) and from 2004 to 2012, Chief Financial Officer of Cassidian – which is now part of Airbus Defence and Space.
Honold has also held management positions at DASA-MTU Aeroengines in Munich, Germany, including Head of Sales and Contracts, Civil Programs and Director of Civil Engine Programs. She began her professional career in this company’s controlling, budgeting and cost accounting department.
She has earned a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from the Studies of Business, Management and Economics program at Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich.
