A joint procurement office will be set up at Airbus America’s Herndon, Virginia office in cooperation with EADS North America to facilitate contacts with suppliers.

This latest Airbus procurement summit brought together more than 250 Ohio companies to help strengthen the state’s aerospace industry, and featured addresses from U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown and Airbus Americas Chairman Allan McArtor.

Honeywell’s long-standing relationship with Airbus was underscored at an appreciation rally in Arizona, which also spotlighted the company’s supplier role for the EADS North America KC-45 currently being offered to the U.S. Air Force.
