Second position filled for new Airbus manufacturing facility

Airbus once again has expanded its airframe design and engineering center in Wichita, Kansas, with this latest development providing much-needed workspace for employees hired over the past year to support on-going A320, A350 and A380 family program activities.

Demonstrating its commitment to the future of aviation, Airbus provided an aircraft flap assembly to the University of Connecticut’s School of Engineering for use in the college’s research laboratories and training classes.
