Airbus Americas

Serving airlines across the Americas

Airbus’ presence in North and Latin America is continually growing, with more than 60 customers across the region employing a full range of Airbus aircraft. Major carriers, low-cost operators, cargo airlines and leasing companies across the Americas have ordered every Airbus jetliner model – from the 100-seat A318 to the 21st century flagship A380.

The company has six locations in the U.S., including the headquarters of Airbus Americas, located in Herndon, Virginia; engineering centers in Mobile, Alabama and Wichita, Kansas; aircraft spares center in Ashburn, Virginia; training center in Miami, Florida; and a regulatory and government liaison office in Washington, D.C. This presence was expanded in April 2013 with the groundbreaking for a new A320 Family production facility in Mobile, which will build A319, A320 and A321 jetliners beginning in 2015.
