Airbus Americas

Serving airlines across the Americas

Airbus’ presence in North and Latin America is continually growing, with more than 60 customers across the region employing a full range of Airbus aircraft. Major carriers, low-cost operators, cargo airlines and leasing companies across the Americas have selected Airbus’ market-leading jetliners for their fleets.

The U.S.-based Airbus Americas has an expanding presence in an important aviation and aerospace marketplace. This includes the company’s first American production site: the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama, which commenced deliveries of A320 Family jetliners in 2016. Other Airbus locations in the U.S. are: the headquarters of Airbus Americas in Herndon, Virginia; engineering centres in Mobile, Alabama and Wichita, Kansas; an aircraft spares centre in Ashburn, Virginia; a training centre in Miami, Florida; and a regulatory and government liaison office in Washington, D.C.

The company also operates the Airbus Mexico Training Centre, S.A. de C.V. facility near Mexico City International Airport, which provides A320 Family training to Airbus operators in Mexico and Latin America.
