As the latest member in Airbus’ market-leading widebody product line, this aircraft features an “Xtra” wide cabin for superior passenger comfort, along with the latest aerodynamic design and advanced Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines to deliver a step change in operating efficiency.

Airbus’ Space Flex: Assisting passengers with reduced mobility

On 3 December, the EU is marking "European Day for People with Disabilities." The European aircraft manufacturer Airbus is already doing its part to help passengers with reduced mobility fly more easily. Airbus' "Space Flex" concept has reshaped its single-aisle aircraft to provide far greater access to the toilets. In addition, this new rear-cabin configuration option already exists on the company’s larger aircraft.

From manufacture to the skies, this video highlights VietJetAir’s first A320 on order with Airbus. The Vietnam-based carrier is acquiring up to 100 of Airbus’ best-selling single-aisle product line, which includes 63 aircraft on firm orders and 30 purchase rights as part of a deal finalised in February 2014. In addition, VietJetAir also will lease seven of these single-aisle jetliners from third-party lessors.

A320 delivery ceremony to the Lion Group's Batik Air

A new milestone in the relationship with Indonesia occurred when Airbus delivered the first three A320 Family jetliners to Batik Air – the Lion Group’s full-service subsidiary that operates domestic and regional services. These aircraft are the first from the Lion Group’s order placed in March 2013 for 234 A320 Family aircraft.
