An enhanced version of the Trent XWB engine will provide the A350-1000 with up to 97,000 lbs. of thrust on takeoff – making it the most powerful engine ever developed for an Airbus jetliner.

Airbus has teamed with engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce to enhance the A350-1000’s performance, which will feature a higher-thrust Trent XWB turbofan engine.

Equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, the Airbus A350-1000 will have a takeoff weight capability of 308 tonnes and will allow the aircraft to fly approximately 400 naut. mi. further with a full load of 350 passengers.
