A320 New Engine Option

Airbus’ A320 aircraft family – which is recognised worldwide as the benchmark single-aisle jetliner product line – will be even more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly with a new engine option now being offered to customers.  

Designated the A320neo, this option provides the minimum change with maximum benefit for the A319, A320 and A321 through the availability of two new jet engine choices – CFM International’s LEAP-X and the PW1100G PurePower from Pratt & Whitney – along with the use of large wing tip devices called Sharklets.
