Asia will continue to be one of the fastest-growing markets for Airbus Corporate Jets, with sales of five aircraft or more per year forecasted based on demand throughout the region.
“In addition to continued activity in China, we are keeping our eyes on India and other countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand – where we have done business in the past and look to do more in future,” said François Chazelle, the Vice President of Airbus Corporate Jets.
According to Chazelle, the primary Asian demand will be in the category of its the Airbus ACJ318, ACJ319, ACJ320 and ACJ321, which have the widest and tallest cabins of any corporate/business jet, and are the most modern in their category.
To provide the region with a first-hand appreciation of Airbus’ corporate jet family, the company has brought an ACJ318 for its debut appearance at a Singapore Airshow. The aircraft displayed at Singapore’s Changi Exhibition Centre is operated by Al Jaber Aviation of Abu Dhabi.
